Review: Bloodshot (2020)

 Movie Review: Bloodshot (2020)

Length: 109 minutes

Description:

Ray Garrison, a slain soldier, is re-animated with superpowers.

Bloodshot is an action movie, with Vin Diesel as the lead role. First off, I love Vin Diesel so I might be biased. It's about a soldier, who dies and comes back to life through some kind of nanotechnology. The movie has everything  a cliché action movie has: A muscular soldier, a company with a stupid name and lots of stunts and fire.

What's sort of different about this movie, is for example the soldiers invulnerability. He gets hurt but he can recharge and go back to his previous state. Throughout the movie, there's a really unexpected plottwist that results in having some timeloops, with significant changes. That is what makes this movie different and I liked watching it. It does get a little confusing at times, the viewer would need to devote some attention to the screen.

I have watched lots of movies with great action heroes and soldiers and whatnot. But this movie has an original story and amazing effects and I will probably remember it for quite some time. A great watch for some casual netflixing.
